The
Lord gave Moses plans for building the tabernacle (tent)
the
plans must be followed - it was to be a copy of heaven (Heb 9:24)

Lord never mentioned a permanent dwelling for Himself (2 Sam 7:7)

Conclusion:
Sanctuary is not so much about a physical location
now it is about respecting God & His word!
